Election 2008

With only less than week til Election, I am proud to say that I'm registered to vote and I've already voted because I decided to be a mail voter. It doesn't matter if I don't experience the adrenaline of waiting in line to vote. All it matter is that I voted and I let myself be heard. I have to say that being involved in politics was the last thing on my list to begin with. Senior year was when I realized how America's fucked up. Living under George Bush was a total wreck for me. In my opinion, he has done nothing to make America a better place. I've found out that he only passed one bill. One bill in the last eight year?!?!? Please, someone shoot me. (figurative language.) I may not know how hard it is, but one bill isn't good. Having said that, I believe that America needs a change. A change that will give us hope. A change that will give us a future. A change that will make children's future better . A change that everyone can be happy. A few weeks back some senator mention that a change can either be good or bad. He obviously said bad. And that's where I stand my words that Barack Obama will make a good change. Obama is like the light from the sun. (I know that sounds cheesy.) A light meaning miracle and hope. I strongly believe he will give us the light we needed. We need a change and Barack Obama is the answer to all of our questions. You can bs whatever you like, but I'm not asking you to vote for him. You can vote for McCain. Be my guest. I'm just expressing my thoughts of this man who I really don't know personally. His plans and attitudes are what makes me want to vote for him. Sorry for side-track, but having heard this from a former co-worker saying that young people are voting for Obama and intelligent people are voting for McCain. It blows my mind to hear that because not all young people are all voting for Obama. That's just way of being jealous in a way. Arriittee.Having said that...there's more to it than just voting for the new president. One word. Propositions.
I'll explain a few propositions that I feel strongly about.

Proposition 1: NO
When reading it, I had the urge to vote yes because they mention San Francisco to Los Angeles in 2 1/2 hours. Though after reading it more I've changed my mind. Having spend billions of dollars that will take thirty plus years in a making is not worth it. I'll be pretty fucking old to ride the trains. I know that they will not raise taxes, but it will not help the economy. I rather spend my taxes that will benefit others. That include children's hospitals, seniors, people with disabilities, and those who can't afford a home and food. Now that's making a difference.

Proposition 3: YES
Two words. Sick Kids!
They need your help. Enough said.

Proposition 4: NO
I know that sounds crazy, but females have the right to do whatever they want with their body. They shouldn't ask their parents permission. It's like me asking if I should have sex. If that was to happen. From what I heard, they chose to have unprotected sex with their partner. That's why 'Trojans' are advertising condoms. Condoms=Protected Sex. (99 percent of the time.) Also even if a girl got rape and pregnant, they should tell their parents they got rape. There's nothing to be ashamed of. That's life..life isn't a fucking fairy tale. And I know that killing a human being is consider a sin, but a fetus isn't human yet until it have fingers and legs. Technically, that's not a sin. In fact, this whole propositions isn't about religious or beliefs. It's about choices. The choices we make in life.

Proposition 8: NO
According to Thomas Jefferson or who ever made the Declaration of Independence. (Excuse my lack of history) "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." To me, he's saying that all men to be created equally. That includes women of course because I think back in those days, they refer women as man. I suppose? But anyways...that's not the key words. It's Life, Liberty, and Happiness. Gays and Lesbians have the rights to marry anyone they choose. Saying yes is taking away the fundamental rights. And and isn't America a land of freedom?? Just think about it, what would happen if your kid was I suppose "different?" You've already taken the rights and can't do anything about it. Whether you like gay people or not. Imagine you have the power to steal from them without consequence. Imagine you have the power to place yourself above them as more worthy of rights and equality. The reality is that you DO have that power. And whether your religious beliefs have convinced you that homosexuality is a sin. Or your personal values are deterring you from voting NO on Prop. 8.
Plus, with the commercials talking about public schools teaching kids about marriage, now that is total BULLSHIT! I've never learn anything about marriage when I was in elementary. Total fruad. Again, it will take the fundamental rights.

I've already voice out my opinions. Now it's your turn to vote.
Vote on November 4, 2008!
And those who aren't old enough to vote, I encourage you to register next time because without being heard won't make a difference. It's like running away from your future.

No time to slack off.

Today, I visited a counselor because I have no idea what to do. Real talk. No idea. Met up with her and start talking about my educational goal. Having about an hour of discussions, there is no time to slack off. Especially when education ain't free anymore. Having said that, I need to make up some lost ground because I'm only taking two classes this semester. Life sucks right now...I have a goal to make up right now and that is getting out of Ohlone College in exactly two years, then transfer out to AAU. So please, no distractions unless it's crackin.

America's Best Dance Crew Season 3?

I don't know about you, but lately I've been hearing hip hop groups auditioning for America's Best Dance Crew for season three. I'm glad I get to hear it before the show even started. As you know, all these group below are obviously from the West Coast. Represent! Though on the back of my head, I have a small of amount of doubt on Season Three's groups if they will bring it up again just like Season One. Last season was arritteee except for Fanny Pak's performances. So please, don't disappoint me again. Personally, I already met them in person. Well, majority of them...

P.S.: I'll be rooting for The Lost Kids.
